Who we are
Grazer is Australian cattle planning and farm-record software. For privacy questions, corrections or complaints, contact hello@grazer.au.
Information we collect
Depending on the features you use, Grazer may collect or store:
- Account information, including your email address, account identifier and any name or profile information you provide.
- Farm and livestock records, including properties, paddock boundaries, mobs, weights, treatments, movements, rainfall, tasks, notes, plans, purchases, sales and market preferences.
- Team and agent information, including collaborator permissions, invitations, messages, business details, contact details, client connections and information deliberately shared between connected users.
- Support and testing information, including feedback, the screen or feature concerned, app version and information you include in messages to us.
- Technical information, such as IP address, browser or device type, authentication events, service logs and security information generated when the service is used.
- Location-related information. Property boundaries and map features that you create contain coordinates and may be stored with your farm records. If you grant location permission, your device location is used to show or centre your position on the map. Grazer does not use this permission to build a background movement or location history.
How we use information
We use information to provide and synchronise Grazer, authenticate accounts, back up records, support collaboration, deliver agent connections and quotes, respond to support requests, improve reliability, prevent misuse, communicate important service information and meet legal obligations.
Grazer does not sell personal information, serve third-party advertising or track users across unrelated apps and websites for advertising.
Sharing and permissions
Property owners control invitations and permissions for their farm workspace. Information is shared with collaborators and connected agents only according to the role, permission or sharing action selected in Grazer. Owners may be able to view and manage records contributed to their workspace.
Service providers
We use specialist providers to operate Grazer. They process limited information on our behalf or as required to provide their service:
- Supabase for authentication, databases, backups and real-time synchronisation.
- MapTiler for map and satellite imagery.
- Cloudflare for website and web-app delivery, security and network services.
- Resend for transactional account email.
These providers may process information in Australia or other countries. Their infrastructure and privacy terms govern their own processing.
Storage and security
Some app preferences and working data are stored on your device. Cloud-enabled records are transmitted to and stored with our service providers. We use access controls, encrypted network connections and database permissions designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should protect your password and device access.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and farm information while it is needed to provide Grazer and for reasonable backup, security, dispute-resolution and legal purposes. You can request deletion through our account deletion page. Residual copies may remain in protected backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw optional permissions, leave a shared property, or request account deletion. You can disable device location permission in your operating-system settings. Contact us if you believe information is inaccurate or if you have a privacy complaint.
Children
Grazer is a business and farm-management service and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Grazer develops or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated policy here and change the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email.
